About Me.

Meet Kat Loughrey, your Digital Experience Strategist.

Lead Consultant.

Spent a decade helping companies adopt digital channels and build strategies for online success. Now, I help leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs redefine their business potential online and build it for next level growth. ⚡️

Australian raised, Asia nurtured, EU based: I have always been interested in all things digital since our first computer at home (to play Camelot), and later, when it infiltrated my communications team as we tackled the cautious steps into having a Facebook Page (shock!). Communications turned into e-Communications, and I dove right into taking on all the digital channels, website and social media, and basically never looked back.

Because of this, I’ve worn many hats throughout my career: strategist, communications specialist, social media manager, content strategist, copy-editor, community builder, project manager, virtual/live-stream event planner, freelance advisor and more. In communications and marketing back then, if you didn’t get your hands dirty on everything, it just didn’t happen — as teams simply didn’t have the resources to specialise.

Nowadays, that’s not the case anymore. But I still have a generalist mindset in a specialists body, as I love to see the whole picture, yet deep dive where it’s needed. I am also deeply passionate about remote work and authenticity in business, and believe that great customer experiences can make the world a happier place.

I am an active member of the Interaction Design Foundation and Squarespace's Circle Forum. I launched the first Freelance Friday in Berlin (coworking community) and I am also a proud member of Dreamers & Doers, a high impact community of trailblazing, entrepreneurial women.

The Team.

It’s not always just me. So, I may bring in independent specialists and experts for projects. I inform you; hire, brief and manage them; and you get the result you want. That’s the experience.

If you want to join my freelancer team, keep an eye on my LinkedIn profile. I’ll put requests out there when I need specialist support :)
